Antibacterial treatment and disinfection of a car interior

Frequent changes in temperature and humidity inside a car provide an ideal environment for micro-organisms and fungi to thrive, often resulting in unpleasant odours. This can lead to allergies and respiratory problems. Many of our customers contact us when they notice an unpleasant odour coming from their car’s ventilation system or when they experience allergy symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes or coughing. To prevent these problems, we recommend antibacterial treatments and changing the air filter at least twice a year – in spring and autumn.

If there’s a particularly strong odour or signs of mould in the car, we also offer chemical cleaning before we disinfect the interior.

We carry out antibacterial maintenance using an ozone generator (ozonator), which produces ozone to clean the vehicle’s ventilation system. The ozonator effectively kills bacteria and fungi and also removes unpleasant odours such as tobacco smoke.

During the treatment, with the air conditioning on recirculation, we activate the ozonator, allowing ozone to flow through the ventilation system, thoroughly cleaning the entire interior of the vehicle.
